Nothing about your dog leaves the page

We built the checker so your dog's medical-genetic details never reach our servers. Here's exactly what we do and don't collect.

Effective June 16, 2026

The drug checker is browser-only

The breed you pick, the drugs you look up, the dose tier you choose, and any pet or vet name you type into the print-for-vet card all stay in your browser. None of it is transmitted to us, stored on a server, logged at an identifying level, or sold. The checker computes its answer locally; we never see your dog's profile.

Analytics

If you allow it, we use privacy-respecting analytics (Google Analytics 4 with consent mode) to count page views and understand which pages are useful. This tells us, in aggregate, that a page was visited — not who you are, which dog you own, or what you looked up in the checker. You can decline analytics from the notice on your first visit, and we honour that choice.

No advertising or retargeting cookies

As of now, this site runs no advertising or retargeting cookies. If that ever changes, we will update this notice and the consent options before any such cookie is set, and any ads would be served non-personalised under a denied ad-consent posture.

What we don't do

  • We don't build a profile of your dog or sell data about it.
  • We don't require an account, an email address, or any sign-up.
  • We don't use pop-ups, exit-intent modals, or email-capture traps.

Third-party links

Pages link to external sites — WSU, Embark, Wisdom Panel — which have their own privacy practices we don't control. This notice covers only MDR1Dog.
