Nothing about your dog leaves the page

We built the checker so your dog's medical-genetic details never reach our servers. Here's exactly what we do and don't collect.

The drug checker is browser-only

The breed you pick, the drugs you look up, the dose tier you choose, and any pet or vet name you type into the print-for-vet card all stay in your browser. None of it is transmitted to us, stored on a server, logged at an identifying level, or sold. The checker computes its answer locally; we never see your dog's profile.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode to count page views and understand which pages are useful. When analytics consent is granted, Google Analytics uses cookies (_ga and _ga_*). By default, analytics storage is granted outside the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, and denied by default inside those regions. Analytics tells us, in aggregate, that a page was visited — not who you are, which dog you own, or what you looked up in the checker.

You can allow or decline analytics at any time using the in-flow Privacy notice controls above the footer. When browser storage is available, your choice is saved in your browser and applied before analytics starts on later page loads; declining also attempts to delete existing _ga and _ga_* cookies. If your browser blocks or clears saved site preferences, your preference cannot be saved across visits. In that case, you can block and delete analytics cookies in your browser settings (note that deleting cookies alone is not a persistent refusal) or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported.

No advertising or retargeting cookies

This site currently uses no advertising or retargeting cookies. If advertising is added, we will update this notice and explain the available choices.

What we don't do

  • We don't build a profile of your dog or sell data about it.
  • We don't require an account, an email address, or any sign-up.
  • We don't use pop-ups, exit-intent modals, or email-capture traps.

Third-party links

Pages link to external sites — WSU, Embark, Wisdom Panel — which have their own privacy practices we don't control. This notice covers only MDR1Dog.
