Find a vet

A vet who already knows the drug list

Most veterinarians can manage an MDR1-positive dog once you flag it. Some are especially familiar with the mutation — herding-breed practices, university clinics, and vets who self-identify as MDR1-aware. We're building an honest directory of them here.

The directory is still small

We'd rather show you nothing than invent listings. We only add a veterinarian once we can verify they self-identify as MDR1-aware, or are referenced by WSU VCPL or a herding-breed rescue organisation. As real, verifiable entries come in, they'll appear here by state.

In the meantime

You don't need a specialist. Any veterinarian can care for an MDR1-positive dog safely — the key is to tell them the status at the start of every visit and to carry the vet card from our positive-dog protocol. For the underlying drug data, the WSU PrIMe / VCPL service also offers dosing guidance directly to veterinarians.

Submit a vet

Know a veterinarian who is genuinely MDR1-aware — yours, or one who's helped a dog you know? Tell us and we'll verify and add them. We'll never list a practice we can't confirm.

A submission form will live here once the directory opens. For now, this page is an honest placeholder — not a list of fabricated names.
